I do not write reviews for books I do not finish.
I reserve the right to refuse to review a book.
I will only respond to review requests that I have decided to accept.
My acceptance of a book does not automatically guarantee a review.
I reserve the right to post a short, bulleted review.
I will read and review the book at my own pace and as my time permits.

I do not follow the conventional Five Star rating system used by most reviewers. Instead, I used a simplified system based solely on my enjoyment of the book and how I felt while reading it:
💖 I Loved It – This book is a new all-time favorite. I will read it again and again.
👍 I Liked It – This book was enjoyable, but not absolutely amazing.
😐 It Was Meh – I didn’t love this book, but I didn’t hate it either.
👎 I Disliked It – This book just wasn’t for me. I did not enjoy it at all.
In the event that I did not like your book, please keep in mind that I’m reviewing the book and not the author. I will strive to be honest yet fair in my negative review, as well as share specific reasons for my opinion.
Reading is a subjective experience and just because I did not enjoy a book doesn’t mean that other readers will feel the same. Where possible, I will discuss what kind of reader might enjoy the book and link to another blogger who shared a positive review.
