How It Started
Just a few years ago, you could’ve found me wearing three-day-old PJs, eating half-melted ice cream from the carton for dinner, and feeling heart-crushingly homesick in my empty Japanese apartment.
As a recent college-grad-slash-newlywed, I was having a Quarter-life Crisis. I needed purpose – an antidote to my listless ennui.
On a whim, I started a YA book blog. It was a last-ditch effort to rope some happiness back into my life. Little did I know that joining the bookish community would supercharge my soul and lead me to the job of my dreams as a freelance graphic designer.

How It’s Going
Today you can still find me in a Japanese apartment eating ice cream for dinner (because in this house, we do what sparks joy). But everything has changed.
I now excitedly run a YA book blog (the one you’re looking at right now!) that makes me wanna throw my hands up and dance every time I think about it.
It’s been a long and bumpy road, friends. And because I love helping people, I want to share what I’ve learned with you!
